About the Network
The Latin American Network of Forestry Education (RELAFOR) is a regional initiative that brings together universities, teachers, researchers and professionals committed to strengthening higher forestry education and forest sustainability in Latin America. Since its creation, RELAFOR promotes collaborative work, knowledge exchange and the development of institutional capacities to respond to the environmental, social and productive challenges faced by the forestry sector.
This section presents the organisational structure of the network, composed of its board of directors, responsible for guiding strategic decisions; the coordination and secretariat, responsible for operational management and articulation among members; as well as the institutions that are part of RELAFOR, whose membership reinforces the participatory and pluralistic nature of the network. In addition, key institutional information is included to help understand the foundations, objectives and lines of action that guide RELAFOR's collective action.
